Our Mission
It started with our daughter. She's beautiful. She's smart. And she just so happens to wear cute little pink hearing aids.
She was born with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss — a diagnosis that, in the earliest days, felt overwhelming. But the more we learned, the more we realized something: the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community isn't waiting to be fixed. It's thriving, expressive, and built around one of the most beautiful languages we'd ever encountered.
American Sign Language changed how we see communication entirely.
We started Wear ASL because we wanted to do something meaningful with that shift — and because we believe the hearing world needs more exposure to ASL, not less. Every design we make puts a hand sign on a shirt and starts a conversation. Every sale puts 100% of our profits toward organizations fighting for Deaf education, access, and advocacy.
Our daughter is why this exists. The community that welcomed our family is who we're giving back to.
No investors. No fluff. Just a family that's learning a new language and wants to help others do the same.
Wear the language. Fund the movement.
Charities that we've donated to include the American Society for Deaf Children. We're open to additional recommendations.
